Dear Hornet Families,
Each month, our school highlights one attribute from the Portrait of a Hornet — a shared picture of the kind of learners, neighbors, and citizens we are growing together. These ten attributes are more than character words on a poster. They are the daily practice that brings New Jersey's Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights — the HIB law — to life inside our classrooms, our hallways, and our digital spaces.
The HIB law asks every school to prevent harassment, intimidation, and bullying, and to respond decisively when it occurs. Policy alone cannot accomplish that. Culture does. And culture is built one attribute, one month, one student at a time.
